In Spanish, we are creating culture maps to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. Students are required to draw six images that represent their culture. They will be presenting their maps on Friday to let their classmates know about their cultural background. This is a great opportunity to promote cultural awareness and to learn a little more about another country.
At the end of this unit, students will be watching a video of Central and South American celebrations and we will play some music from the different countries as well as some cultural dances from the regions.
