Although the idea of buying a car can seem fun and exciting, many students are often unprepared for the many steps that come with buying a car. Whether it involves getting the best deal, filling out loan applications, or paying for registration / insurance, purchasing a car can be overwhelming. The Personal Finance Class has been using life skills lessons that have the students go through all the steps of buying a car. The lessons have included an activity where they use technology to shop for a car. They used various websites to research, evaluate, and decide which car was the best deal for them.
