Science is the study of the structure and behavior of the world through observations and experiments. It sure has been nice to be back in school with all the students because we have done a good amount of experiments in such a short time. In my Applied Science class, we have done experiment after experiment after experiment. We have talked about germs, worked with Bess bugs and figured out how many drops of water fit on one side of a penny! The students are becoming more comfortable with using the scientific method process. In my Physical Science class, we have focused on the basics: measurements and graphing. These are the skills that will be following us as we explore more on the concept of matter! As I have mentioned before, it is a blessing to be back in school, but an even bigger blessing is to be here at Lexington High School! Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to this great community!
