The DLP classes have been busy making their appearance around the school. You might see them pushing in chairs, picking up recycling, doing laundry for the sports teams, sanitizing volleyballs and basketballs, washing tables after lunch and filling the condiment cups for ranch and ketchup. Why do the DLP classes do these jobs? They are working on employment skills so that they are ready to tackle the future. Learning employable skills, how to work with others, and taking directives from teachers/bosses are all important work force requirements. These students will have a jumpstart on their skills.
