In Applied Science ECT we have spent the last couple weeks folding and testing paper airplanes. In this unit we look at how planes fly by exploring the forces acting on a plane and how Bernoulli’s principle helps a plane achieve lift. Also, students used the scientific method to modify their planes to make them fly better. Next week we will have a competition to see who can fold the farthest flying plane and the plane that does the coolest tricks!
