Lexington Regional Health Center will be holding a Covid-19 Vaccination clinic for all persons age 12 and older on Thursday July 22, 2021 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. With the upcoming school year quickly approaching, we want to provide another opportunity to protect staff, students and our community to help ensure a safe return to school. The CDC is saying that the surges across the country of Covid infections due to the Delta variant are largely preventable due to the fact that the current, authorized Covid-19 vaccinations appear to offer strong protection against the original virus and the variants. If you or anyone in your household are interested in receiving the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination, please call Lexington Regional Health Center Pharmacy at 308-324-8334 to schedule an appointment. If you are a fall sports student-athlete, Lexington Public Schools will excuse you from after-school practice on August 12 for the time it takes to receive your second dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination.
