Students Volunteer at Public Library
LHS students have been busy volunteering at the Lexington Public Library this past year. Activities, such as, Prime Time Preschool, Art Class, Spanish Book Club, Family Fun Night, Early Childhood Training, and Mommies Club provide great opportunities for our students to give back to the community of Lexington.
“We are so grateful that students are willing to volunteer at the Lexington Public Library. Their energy and genuine interest in assisting patrons of all ages with courtesy and a friendly smile is appreciated. Volunteering for different library events and programs demonstrates the students’ talents and leadership skills,” stated Rocio Casonova, Youth and Family Services Librarian at the Lexington Public Library.
