As the second quarter is underway the Lexington FFA chapter is hard at work. As always the students have stepped up to the challenge. To update last years events, we had several teams qualify for the state competition including the Welding team, Ag Mechanics team, livestock judging senior team, Vet Science team and Livestock Management team. In a couple of weeks the FFA chapter will start competitions. The first round of competition will be Livestock Judging. We are looking forward to this year and excited to see the students at Lexington High School excel once again this year. Lexington FFA is also proud to have junior high start their competitions. Last year Lexington Middle School FFA competed at districts in Quiz Bowl. We are looking to show our talents again this year.
