A bald eagle is a type of animal that lives in a grassland habitat. There are two main habitats that we are learning about in ELL Science. One of these habitats is a prairie and one is a savanna habitat, can you guess which one it is that the bald eagle lives in?

This is what the students are trying to decipher by looking at information cards that have been given to them and are given clues as to which continent they live on and what type of grassland habitat covers the specific area to which the animal lives in. After that, they are to apply this information and write sentences explaining the habitat they live in. Students will be practicing the present and past tense forms of “to live” as well as using the verb “to be” in this activity along with learning more information about grassland animals.
