Feel Good Friday: LPS Staff Shout Out

Lexington Public School’s SEL and Mental Health Support is starting a new program this year called Feel Good Fridays.  Feel Good Fridays are celebrated the first and third Friday of every month where one staff member of LPS is recognized for their hard work and dedication they provide to the district. All staff members have the opportunity to nominate their colleagues in the days before the drawing.  All nominations are entered into a random drawing and one staff member is selected to be the spotlight for that week. Our winner receives a bouquet sponsored by Plum Creek Market Place Floral Department and a gift card donated by USave Pharmacy and Gifts.  It is our hope through spreading kindness and an attitude of gratitude we will continue to strengthen a positive culture at LPS.

A big staff shout out goes to our first Feel Good Friday winner, Keri Fagot

Keri is the Business Office Specialist for our district.  She is the accounts payable and purchasing person, she takes care of student and staff meal accounts as well as claims and compliance for food service.  She manages daily student transportation and helps with many other various tasks…all in hopes that everything runs smoothly for other district staff, students, and parents!

When asked about what she enjoys most about what she does at LPS, Keri says she enjoys the busyness of her job, the staff she works with and helping everyone.

When not at work, Keri enjoys spending time with her family and talking about them!  Keri and her husband Jared, have 5 children: Jeremy, Jade, Jaxon, Klair and Jaryn and 2 grandsons: Greyson and Clay.  Keri also likes to cook, bake, and read when she has time.

We asked Keri if there was anything she would like to say to inspire gratitude in others and she humbly replied with “Appreciate everyone!”

Congratulations Keri!  LPS appreciates all that you do!  We are proud of you!
