The ELL Transition 1 History class has been learning about the Maya in the Past and the Present. Here the students are starting to put their ideas together into writing and sharing with each other what they have learned so far this quarter. As all the ELL classes, History T1 is very diverse even though there are only a few students. We have students from all over the world. Within this picture we can see students from Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, Kenya and Somalia. Even though, we have a very diverse class, all the students come in to form a small family away from their family. They work together and learn as much as they can together. In History T1 we learn about the Ancient World Civilizations and the students bring in different ideas and thoughts about their part of the world so the class is very rich in culture and traditions as the concepts that we learn in the class.
