Over 250 sixth graders successfully took Mrs. Hanna’s GooseChase library orientation challenge these past two days! Mrs. Jacob brought her sixth grade Language Arts students on Monday; Mrs. Morton brought hers on Tuesday. Mrs. Hanna set up 25 missions with varied point values to help students learn to navigate through the library. Teams of students competed via their iPads to earn the highest number of points. Some of the challenges required students to locate a particular fiction genre, use the Destiny online catalog, find the book return, and to figure out where to find information about a particular book series. Students reported that they learned a lot!
