Western Civilization - Mr. DeLaet
In western civilization class, juniors have begun learning about the Crusades that lasted from 1096-1291.
In our latest class activity, students dove into the history of the Crusades by creating a hands-on timeline of the first three crusades. Each group carefully cut out and arranged pieces of paper with a key event on it, piecing together a visual representation of this pivotal period in history. To add a competitive edge, the fastest team was rewarded with delicious Oreo balls, provided by Mr. DeLaet. The combination of engaging learning with the possibility of Mr. DeLaet’s signature treat made for a great atmosphere!
