Mr. DeLaet

In American Government class, we are learning about the Executive Branch of the United States Government. There are three main things we are learning about in regards to the Executive Branch.

First, we learned the responsibilities of the President of the United States. Duties such as making treaties, being a role model for American citizens, and signing new laws into effect.

Second, we learned about the President’s Cabinet and how they help the President with his responsibilities. Departments like Homeland Security, the Interior, Agriculture, and Security are all vital in ensuring the President can do his job correctly.

Third, we talked about several agencies that help citizens including: Postal Service, CIA, Small Business Administration, the EPA, and many more!
