Two Rivers Public Health Recommendations
The Lexington Public School District will continue with in-person instruction despite the fact that the Two Rivers Public Health District’s risk dial has moved to red/pandemic status. As you can see in the release below, Two Rivers is not recommending that area schools switch to remote learning because masking and other interventions have proven successful in preventing in-school transmission of COVID-19. The school district continues to consult with Two Rivers and local health care providers on a regular basis, and will communicate with as much advanced notice as possible if plans change.
