Patriot Pen Winners 2024

Congratulations to Lexington Middle School students Liviana Schneider, Lorelai Rickertsen, and Sadiyo Abdullahi for winning the Patriot Pen essay competition! This competition is hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and allows students to express their views on important patriotic themes.

This year, our eighth graders wrote essays on the theme “My Voice in America’s Democracy,” which were submitted to our local VFW post for judging. The awards were presented during the Veterans Day program at LMS earlier this week!
