Novel Unit in Reading Skills

April 2025

This quarter is a special time in our classroom. We are reading We Are Witnesses as a whole group novel during our morning classes.

We are diving into the novel When Zachary Beaver Came to Town in our afternoon classes.

Eventually, we will contrast each book to the movie that it corresponds to. We will also complete independent reading of books within our room. Software is a daily activity for us involving – spelling, fluency, a video and writing prompts. Any student at Lexington HIgh can peruse our supply of books and check one out.
