Mrs. Gydesen’s Foods I classes are back to the kitchens despite Covid-19.  With a few changes to the routines the students are getting excited to start baking.  One of the adjustments made is to wear disposable aprons.  Once student’s hands are washed they will also wear plastic gloves while preparing products.  Masks are required at all times in the labs.  Students will not be allowed to eat in the labs but when a baked product is done they will return to the classroom and as quickly as possible try what they made, practicing social distancing.  Students will not be able to share items they’ve made with friends until lunch when they can also remove their masks.  Afternoon classes will bag their extra items and enjoy them after school.
