USA Powerlifting National High School Powerlifting Championships
Thirteen members of the Lexington High School Powerlifting team competed at the USA Powerlifting National High School Powerlifting Championships over the weekend in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We started out the week by stopping in Nashville, Tennessee for a practice at Ensworth Frist Campus, which is an amazing private high school in Tennessee. We traveled the rest of the way to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where we enjoyed two and a half days of Powerlifting and a little beach time. Lexington Powerlifters competed with over 600 other Powerlifters from across the United States and had a great experience. Lexington Powerlifters that competed include: Litzy Morales, Yasmin Monroy, Jasmin Martinez, Anthony Taracena, Kevin Parada, Rivaldo Vargas, Felipe Zaldivar, Alex Mateo, Conlan Kjar, Jose Miguel, Ezequiel Lucas, Andrew Rodriguez & Miguel Castellanos.
National placers include:

Jasmin Martinez – 5th
