As the second quarter is underway the Lexington Agriculture Science classes and FFA has seen many changes due to Covid-19. As always the students have stepped up to the challenge. In a couple of weeks the FFA chapter will start competitions. The first round of competition will be Livestock Judging. The chapter’s senior team from last year placed 4th at districts and went on to compete at state. The team finished in 9th place over all. Sarah Treffer placed 9th as an individual out of 80 participants. The FFA chapter also had an Ag Communication Team and they were District Champions and went on to compete at state. The Ag Communication Team placed 4th in the state. Emely Carranza was State Champion in Web Design. We are looking forward to this year and excited to see the students at Lexington High School excel once again this year.
