Students in English 3 and English 3 Honors have been working hard this quarter to write their argumentative essays. First, students had to select a topic and research credible sources to learn about their topic and understand the complexities of the issue. Then, students chose their claim, or their personal perspective on the issue and took notes on their research of evidence that would help them prove their claim. After completing outlines, students finally have been ready to write! They are working hard to argue for their claims in writing and make sure they are connecting with their readers. With essays due this Wednesday, I can’t wait to read the great arguments from my students!
