We have been busy in our Spanish classes with a ton of new vocabulary and grammar! This quarter in Spanish 1, we have been talking about the verb estar in many contexts. We used a list of adjectives to act out in front of the class to have others guess what we were portraying. In addition, we played pictionary to have our partners guess what someone was doing; “qué está haciendo?”
Spanish 2 has been focused on the present subjunctive extensively. We also just finished talking about how to say, “Let’s ______” using nosotros commands and students created projects to talk about things to do in cities around the Spanish speaking world! It was fun to see what activities they came up with to share with their classmates. ¡Vámonos!
