In Reading Skills, we are in the middle of the workshop with this title. We have had discussions about peaceful protests, freedom of speech and wiretapping.
We have learned about youth court and read some of William Shakespeare’s work. We look forward to doing some extended writing about petitioning for a new amendment. We are gearing up for our next quarter which will include a novel for each class. We continue to use our software program and read our own independent reading books. Feel free to stop in room 301 and check out an entertaining book. Mrs. Kuefner
“I have a passion for teaching kids to become readers, to become comfortable with a book, not daunted. Books shouldn’t be daunting, they should be funny, exciting and wonderful; and learning to be a reader gives a terrific advantage.” Roald Dahl
