Seniors traditionally study British literature for their last English class. Our high school library has over 325 books by British authors, so the students have many books from which they can choose. The regular English 4 students write an argumentative paper on a topic related to the book. The College English II students are to create a 5-7 minute movie meeting specific elements on a rubric given to the students. One of the elements is a logline, which is a summarization of the book in one sentence. Both projects are to include book reviews and biographical information on the author. Both the English 4 and College English II projects may be turned in at any time, but the final due date for all work is March 30, 2021. After this date students are free to read a book of choice. Listed below are students in English 4 and College English II who turned in their book titles.
