Anatomy & Physiology

Mr. Zarate

The anatomy and physiology classes have been working on identification of the muscles since December. After weeks of identifying many of the 640 muscles in the human body, they finished the unit by dissecting many of the same muscles in a cat. While there are certain differences, the homology of the cat and human allows students to see the muscles up close and personal. If you see one of the anatomy students ask them to name the muscles that make up your quads or hamstrings, they can definitely tell you all about them.
