Functions are a very practical math application to connect algebraic concepts to the real world.
Think of any activity that has measurable data connected with it, it can be written as a function.
We are sharpening our entire math-skill tool set working with functions, they use number sense, geometry, problem solving skills, and of course, algebra!
Both class levels are learning or re-learning function vocabulary and analyzing graphs to determine the type of function that is displayed and the equation that creates the graph.
We will build on this newfound knowledge to create functions of our very own!
