Lexington Logo Black with White Outline

This week the students are starting their last quarter of the school year. In our Algebra 1 class, we just finished learning about adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials. This week we are starting to learn about quadratic functions. A quadratic function is a fancy word for graphing parabolas and solving problems using the quadratic function forms. In our Algebra 1A class, we’re performing statistical analysis on data sets. We’ll continue to work with data sets to find the mean, median, range, IQR, and standard deviation. We’re also using the data to create histograms, dot plots, box plots, and scatter plots. Even though this school year hasn’t been normal, the students are continuing to stay focused and work hard to finish the year strong!
