1st Day of School Information 2022

Lexington Public Schools is excited to welcome students back to school Thursday, August 11th & Friday, August 12th.

AUGUST 11TH the following grades will attend school

PreK, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 12th

AUGUST 12TH the following grades will attend school

K, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 10th & 11th

Lexington High School Start Time

Thursday, Aug 11th

9th graders will report to LHS from 8:00 am -12pm to participate in freshman orientation and to learn about high school life and the variety of activities that are offered at LHS. Throughout the morning, students will participate in an abbreviate school day that will allow them to get acclimated to high school expectations; they will meet all of their instructors, receive a course syllabus for each class and be given directions to each of their classrooms.
Students in grade 12 will arrive at the west gymnasium from 1:00 pm – 3:35pm.

Friday, Aug 12th

Students in grade 11 will report to LHS from 8:30 – 11:30 am.
Students in grade 10 will report to LHS from 12:30 – 3:30 pm.

LUNCH WILL NOT BE SERVED on the 11^th or the 12^th at Lexington High School.
