Sandoz Literacy Night

Monday

BINGO – we will call 3 music words a day first 2 classes to get BINGO win a Piñata for their class - K-2 vs. 3-5 Team Reading - K-2 students turn in slips for every book read - 3 -5 turn in slips for every 40 pages read to Mrs. Hobelman

Tuesday

BINGO – Team Reading – students turn in your team reading sheets

Dress Like a Rock Star - Students dress as their favorite musicians or band member (appropriate attire)

Literacy Night 6 – 8

Wednesday

BINGO – Team Reading - students turn in your team reading sheets –

Guest readers –

Name That Tune – 3:10 – 3:25 – we will play songs over the intercom and each class will receive a sheet to write the name of the tune (if you know the artist write the name down this will be used in case of a tie)– Teachers may help, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED  - when you have completed your paper send to the office with a student – Top class will win a prize

Thursday

BINGO – Team Reading - students turn in your team reading sheets –

Black out Night - Thursday is Black Out night.  Turn off all electronics (T.V. computers, Game Boy etc.) read a book, play cards or a board game, draw pictures, write stories, or go outside and play. The classes (K-1, 2-3, 4-5) with the highest percentage of participants will win a book for their classroom.  Any student participating will receive a ROCK tattoo or sticker.

Friday

BINGO -Team Reading - Student’s turn in your team reading sheets

Black out slip - Return slip to Mrs. Macias with your name, class, and what you did.

Pajama Day or Hat Day  - assembly at the end of the day
