Food Drive Winners at Pershing

Pershing completed our Food Drive in cooperation with Tyson. As a school we collected many food items. The winning class, bringing in the most items was Mrs. Fast’s fourth grade class with 397 items.  Tyson treated this class to a movie with treats at the Kearney Cinema 8.  Mrs. Fagan’s fourth grade class came in second with 130 items. Tyson treated them to a pizza party. Thank you to all who donated to help with community hunger and a special thank you to Tyson for setting up the hunger drive and providing fabulous prizes.  It was just the incentive we needed to kick it in to gear!
