Spanish with Mrs. Ramirez

December 5, 2016

We have been very busy in Spanish 1 and 2 lately. We learned all about the Day of the Dead, which is a holiday celebrated in Latin America in early November. We also did a Thanksgiving Day project that helped us practice some basic grammar and spelling.

In Spanish 1, we have been talking about foods and how to conjugate verbs! Students have been playing some fun games like Battleship, Pictionary, and a marker board race game to practice what they know.

In Spanish 2, we have been focused on clothing and jewelry along with various verb tenses and irregular verb forms. Students have been playing games to practice their grammar and vocabulary with games called Sequence as well as Enfrente, where they describe a word without actually saying it.

We have still been using our computers for most of our work and activities and the students are doing a great job. We will be finishing out this semester soon and are excited to come back and learn more in the New Year! Have an amazing holiday season!
