Constitution Day- Mr. Frauen's American History Classes
October 11, 2012
September 17th 2012 was Constitution Day and it is celebrated across the nation. Many schools, like Lexington, incorporate Constitution Day into their curriculum to expand student learning. Even the state of Nebraska gets involved, as there is a celebration of this wonderful document on the state level. This year in American History class, our students were able to participate in a live web cast from Grand Island with featured speaker Secretary of State John Gale. This year marked the 225th anniversary of the Constitution and in class we were able to discuss some of Secretary of State John Gale's comments about the importance of the Constitution and what it means to today's citizens.
