Community Based Instruction Class Goes to Pumpkin Patch
October 9, 2012
The Community Based Instruction class recently had the opportunity to go to a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch was located in Broken Bow and it was called, Fox Seasonal Farms Pumpkin Patch. Students were able to take a hay rack ride, slide down the dirt slide, play in the corn maze along with the corn sand pit. Students also were able to ride on the miniature train and on the peddle bikes. Students were able to see where the pumpkins and other gourds were grown. At the end of the trip, students each got to pick out a pumpkin to take home. As a class we brought the pumpkins back to school where we painted them for Halloween.
