The Great American Duel

September 25, 2013

In their study of early American History, Ms. Clark's classes reenacted the historic duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton.  After years of public disagreements and political battles, Burr and Hamilton finally met in a gentlemen's duel.  2 students from each class volunteered to reenact the classic scene.  Using their best acting skills (and with the help of some background music), the students played out the scene ultimately ending in Hamilton's death.  The cheers and applause from the audience were enough to mark the beginning of successful acting careers!
