From the Weight Bench...

With the Spring Sports off and starting the weight lifting classes have also gotten a start back on track after the mid semester testing. The class is in to week 4 of the 4th quarter lifting program already! The students are participating in core lifts on Mondays and Wednesdays. These core lifts consist of bench and squat on Mondays and deadlift and power clean on Wednesdays. This quarter they have a pick your lift day on Friday. Friday is the day where students pick from a group of lifts assigned to the class. The student picks the repetitions and sets for the lift of their choice. Students have also been participating in agility one day a week and have received a game day the other day due to good behavior. The class will continue this program until May, when testing will start again for agility testing as well as max lift testing.
