Substitute Teaching
If you would like to be a substitute teacher for Lexington Public Schools, please contact Carrie Bell, Payroll Specialist at 308-324-1204.
Guidelines for applying for substitute teaching:
1. Bring your Current Teaching Certificate
2. Bring your Driver's License and Social Security Card
3. Fill out I-9 and background check form
Once the background check has been cleared, you will need to come in and fill out the remaining paperwork. You will then be added to the substitute teaching list.
Lexington Public Schools substitute pay rate is $100.00 per day for the
first 20 days and starting on the 21st day the pay rate is $165.00 per
day.
